Jumu'ah Mubārak!
As-salamu 'alaykum wa raḥmatullahi wa barakatuh.
May Allah ﷻ make this blessed Friday a source of mercy, forgiveness, guidance and countless blessings for you and your family. May He accept your prayers, answer your du'ā', strengthen your īmān, grant you beneficial knowledge, lawful sustenance, good health and bless you with a beautiful ending (ḥusnul khatimah). Aamiin.
As we welcome this blessed day, let us strive to earn its immense rewards by observing the Sunnah of Jumu'ah:
● Perform ghusl before attending Jumu'ah.
● Wear your best clean clothes.
● Apply perfume (for men).
● Use the miswak.
● Recite Surah Al-Kahf.
● Increase in sincere du'a, especially during the hour when du'a is accepted.
● Send abundant ṣalawat upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
● Arrive early for Jumu'ah and listen attentively to the khuṭbah.
● Give charity, even if it is little.
● Maintain family ties, forgive others and spread kindness.
Allah says:
"O you who believe! When the call is proclaimed for the prayer on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trade. That is better for you, if only you knew." (Surah Al-Jumu'ah 62:9)
May Allah ﷻ make us among those who honour the sanctity of Jumu'ah, whose sins are forgiven, whose hearts are filled with taqwa and whose names are written among the people of Jannah.
